DeepDOM ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension, DeepDOM - Technical SEO & Render Debugger, handles your data.

1. Data Collection and Usage

  • DeepDOM is designed to operate entirely locally within your browser.
  • We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
  • We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your browsing history, website content, or SEO audit results to our servers or any third parties.

All SEO analysis, DOM rendering comparisons, and redirect tracing happen directly on your local machine.

2. Permissions

To function properly, DeepDOM requires certain permissions:

  • activeTab & <all_urls>: Required to analyze the SEO health and DOM structure of the specific webpage you are currently viewing when you activate the extension.
  • webRequest: Required to trace HTTP redirect chains and inspect response headers locally.
  • storage: Required to save your UI preferences (such as Dark Mode or Color-Blind mode toggles) locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

3. Third-Party Services

DeepDOM does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
