All SEO analysis, DOM rendering comparisons, and redirect tracing happen directly on your local machine.
2. Permissions
To function properly, DeepDOM requires certain permissions:
- activeTab & <all_urls>: Required to analyze the SEO health and DOM structure of the specific webpage you are currently viewing when you activate the extension.
- webRequest: Required to trace HTTP redirect chains and inspect response headers locally.
- storage: Required to save your UI preferences (such as Dark Mode or Color-Blind mode toggles) locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

DeepDOM does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
